Mukurthi National Park

Located on the south-eastern corner of the Nilgiris Plateau, this is the land of the Nilgiri Thar. The famous equatorial evergreen forest "Silent Valley" is located on the western side of these ranges. The uniqueness of this region is its similarity and relationship to Himalayan flora and fauna.
