Eravikulam National Park

This unique sanctuary is the only sanctuary where the shy Nilgiri Tahr can be seen at close quarters.

Area : 97sq.km.
Season : Round the year except during monsoons, usually around August.
Flora : Tropical evergreen
Fauna : nilgiri tahr, sambar, gaur, lion-tailed macaque, nilgiri langur etc.
Access : By road.
