Our key resource person for eco-tourism, Mr.Jagannatha Rao is an Engineer and Industrialist deeply interested in wildlife and conservation of nature. He has been involved with various organisations at various levels in spreading the message of conservation for the last 40 years.
A renowned wildlife consultant, he is also retired founder trustee of The Madras Snake Park and Crocodile Bank. Mr.Jagannatha Rao has produced a 13 episode TV series on India's wildlife in 1987.He is a well-known wildlife photographer, having won many awards.
S.U. SARAVANAKUMAR
Saravanakumar is a wildlife photographer with a master's degree in wildlife biology. has worked on filming projects for channels like National Geographic and ABC. Currently involved in a project to photographically document the reptiles and amphibians of the Western Ghats with an aim to bring out a field guide for identification.
His chief interests are in using the academic training along with media experience to document and disseminate knowledge about the Natural History of India. Saravanakumar runs a company called Ecotone that specializes in producing wildlife related media work.
A.S. CANDADE
Director of Wildertrails, Ashok Candade is an out and out outdoor person who considers the jungles of India as his second home,with a childhood spent in the Chambal forests. An ex-Army officer, Major Candade is highly trained in outdoor survival skills.
Major Candade's keen interest and knowledge of the terrain enables him to specialise in hard-core trekking for small groups through some of the most remote and beautiful areas of India.
